FAQs
What is the turnaround time?
Turnaround time is around 8-12 weeks from the point of approval of the campaign ideas.
What do you count towards the link target?
We count links above DR30, however please note that our average DR is much higher. Unlinked mentions and links below DR30 are free of charge.
Do you count Syndicated links?
No, we do not include syndicated links, setting us apart from other digital PR firms..
Do I need to post content on my website to help you?
No, we send the press releases via email with the link credit request for the homepage or relevant inner page of your website.
How is digital PR different from HARO?
Digital PR = interesting campaigns based on tips or data that journalists use as a base to create articles from
HARO = journalists asking for quotes in existing articles they are writing
HARO often becomes a numbers game, answering as many journalists as possible meaning that turnaround time can be slower as there are only so many requests to respond to. Whereas digital PR can be done a lot quicker (and at more scale should that be of interest) and 1 campaign can yield many links (our record is 90).
From our experience HARO services often end up getting links from irrelevant articles due to the need to respond to as many requests as possible. The great thing about digital PR is that you can create campaigns around your topics, giving you more control of the article subject, whilst still landing incredible high DR links.
I want you to do a release about some company news.
We do not do traditional promotional PR, this service is focused on building links. We find that journalists rarely post promotional campaigns, so we focus on providing them with interesting studies and content that they can use and credit your company or spokesperson as the source.
I want links from a specific publication, can you do that?
All of our placements are earned (not paid), so we don’t have final control on whether a publication publishes an article or not. That said, we can research that publication and create releases that we think they might be interested in.
Do all the links have a Domain Rating (DR) of 90 or higher?
No, the links are acquired organically through our campaigns, resulting in a diverse range of DR values. We specifically consider links with a DR exceeding 40, but, on average, you can expect domains with far higher Domain ratings.
Do all the links have a Domain Rating (DR) of 90 or higher?
While we can’t guarantee journalists will utilise inner page links, we’re happy to include them in the releases.
Why aren't all links Do Follow?
As we collaborate with real journalists, we cannot guarantee this. On average 50-60% of links are ‘do follow’.
Some placements are not linked - can I request they are linked?
We reach out to all placements that have not been linked in order to request that the journalists change the mention to a link. They don’t always accept, but we have a strong interest in them changing it so rest assured that we are on the case. We do this for all DR30+ and non-syndicated placements.
What sort of websites can I expect to get links on?
We target top-tier media outlets with our outreach – think national and international media. You may also land links on other websites who use these top-tier publications as sources. Recent campaigns have landed links from Forbes, MSN, Yahoo, CNC, New York Post, The Sun, Wales Online and many more.
What happens if one campaign doesn't hit my link target?
We carry out unlimited campaigns until we hit your link target; this is free of charge.
What sets PR backlinks apart from regular backlinks?
PR backlinks originate from reputable websites and media channels via digital PR initiatives, while standard backlinks are established through guest posts, directories, or alternative SEO techniques. PR backlinks carry greater significance in search engine algorithms, influencing website authority and rankings.
What sort of campaigns will you run? Can I request what you write about?
In order to achieve fantastic links for you, we need to send content that journalists will love to publish. We research what journalists in your category like to publish and create something they are likely to be interested in. In the case that your topic is overly niche, not covered in mainstream news or grey/controversial, then we will pick related topics that will achieve coverage.
What's the difference between Digital PR and Traditional PR
Digital PR enhances online brand visibility through strategic online campaigns, contrasting with traditional PR that centers on offline channels. The primary goals of Digital PR include generating high-quality backlinks, enhancing rankings, and boosting organic website traffic.
